To that end the Emperor has decreed that a new fleet be formed on that will see each of you commit a portion of your forces to it. They will co-operate, they will succeeded and they will become a guiding beacon to the rest of the Imperium that together we are stronger than anything"

Introduction

It is a time of hope, under the benevolent leadership of the Emperor the fleets of the Great Crusade move across the galaxy reuniting the lost tribes of mankind. Many challenges await the brave warriors of the Emperor in the darkness beyond his realm. Foolish superstitions, cunning xenos and wilful men and women unwilling to bend the knee for the good of all.

Yet perhaps the greatest threat comes not from without but from within. For as always hate, jealousy and greed are easily able to buy mens souls.
