Relationships

Student: Michelle Erekson Second Year Hart Hearth, scale, cheerful and chatty, short height, blonde straight shoulder length hair, daughter of George Wardell's partner. Told the school about Steven's Dad.

Background/Bio

The Wardells have been Aurors in the Chicago land area since the very early 1900s. On the whole, they haven't been remarkable. But they don't need to be. They're job is to protect the Mag world from those that attempt to use dark knowledge for power and personal gains. One doesn't need to earn glory for doing the right thing. The first couple all chose to follow in the family career because that's what they wanted to do. By the time George Wardell joined the force, it was practically expected by the family (although George probably would have attempted to join on his own without the family legacy).

So there is a lot of pressure on the latest member of the family to attend Wildmore academy. Steven Wardell knows that his family expects him to get good grades so he can apply for Auror training once he's graduated. And Steven does want to get good grades. Good grades will probably help him get a good job doing anything other than becoming an Auror. Not that he would tell his family that. At least not yet. So for his first four years, Steven did what what was expected of him. Even now in his fifth year, where more elective class options became available, he's taking the classes that are expected of someone that wants to go into magical law enforcement. Over his time at Wildmore, he's earned a reputation for being helpful to his fellow students, regardless of their hearth. And he was able to keep his family's history a secret until last year, when Michelle Erekson (his dad's partner's daughter) started her first year.
