Like characters, the ship earns experience that can be spent on advancements. Ships earn 1 xp per episode. Players are permitted to donate character experience to ship advancement spends.
Ship advancement may require more fictional support than character advancement due to the labor and materials required to justify upgrades.
Tier 0
Tier 0 changes will be considered on a case by case basis and require consensus from the group.
Tier 1
- Add an unranked Module to the ship: 1 Experience Firefly Class can hold a maximum of 20 Modules, ranked or otherwise.

Knack to any
or higher ranked Module: 1 Experience
Tier 2
- Step up an unranked Module to
