In American Gods the characters are so powerful they just don't need to increase their powers, nor do they know how to increase the powers or even what the details are (currently). Because of this I have not awarded traditional game session experience points - per game session or for overcoming odds... That's not really the point of this game. FYI: experience points are called Power Points in M&M and ARE exactly the same as the original Power Points you use to spend for your character.

Since character dynamics and roleplaying style seems to BE our main reward I see the best place to award actual rewards are in doing the co-creation portion of our campaign. Each week I will be awarding NEW power points for your involvement in background creation and/or additions for your character. Since we're heavily using the wiki for this campaign - when you post new things there let me know and I'll consider that for your PP award for the week.

Honestly your character's powers are just so powerful you won't need to increase them for awhile. The fact you don't know what your powers are hinders this as well...  When you get Power Points you can use them to increase your "normal human" PL 2 characters. Increasing anything on this sheet that is NOT super powerful. You can also begin buying off weeknesses and flaws on any powers or non-power things.

For all your past hard work.... This is obviously based on your activity in doing your original background info and then adding to the wiki and co-creation since the first game to current.  Everyone was awarded different points because everyone has done different levels of co-creation for the game. Basically I thought - we've had 7 game sessions how much has each person added per game since first making their character concept and their 3x3 background, then adding additional stuff....

CURRENT POWERR POINTS AWARDED

NORMAL POWER POINT AWARDS?

In American Gods the characters are so powerful they just don't need to increase their powers, nor do they know how to increase the powers or even what the details are (currently). Because of this I have not awarded traditional game session experience points - per game session or for overcoming odds... That's not really the point of this game. FYI: experience points are called Power Points in M&M and ARE exactly the same as the original Power Points you use to spend for your character.

POWER POINTS FOR CO-CREATION

HOW DO YOU GET POWER POINTS?

Since character dynamics and roleplaying style seems to BE our main reward I see the best place to award actual rewards are in doing the co-creation portion of our campaign. Each week I will be awarding NEW power points for your involvement in background creation and/or additions for your character. Since we're heavily using the wiki for this campaign - when you post new things there let me know and I'll consider that for your PP award for the week.

Basically the GAME is fun and that's our reward for that... the background info takes time and a little work (although it's fun too) hence awarding the rewards for doing it!

HOW MUCH CAN I GET?

Power Points are huge in M&M. Getting more than 2-3 points a game is ALOT. Generally I will award 1-3 Power Points depending on your co-creation additions, the maximum will be 5 points per session and will be RARE...

WHAT CAN I SPEND POWER POINTS ON?

Honestly your character's powers are just so powerful you won't need to increase them for awhile. The fact you don't know what your powers are hinders this as well... When you get Power Points you can use them to increase your "normal human" PL 2 characters. Increasing anything on this sheet that is NOT super powerful. You can also begin buying off weeknesses and flaws on any powers or non-power things.

WHAT NEEDS TO HAPPEN?

We REALLY need to have that 2-3 hour time to update and go over everyone's PL2 characters. I need to have you show me how to fix all your PL2 character stats from the things I got wrong originally.

POWER POINT REWARDS

For all your past hard work.... This is obviously based on your activity in doing your original background info and then adding to the wiki and co-creation since the first game to current. Everyone was awarded different points because everyone has done different levels of co-creation for the game. Basically I thought - we've had 7 game sessions how much has each person added per game since first making their character concept and their 3x3 background, then adding additional stuff....
