Beastmen have a combination of animal and human characteristics. They are often humanoid or at least more anthropomorphic than normal animals.

ape men
Bipedal apes or homonids such as Neanderthals might also be considered beastmen even though they are human-like only because humans are also homonids and apes.
bear folk
Bear folk are sometimes mistaken for wild bears who can also stand upright on their hind legs and tamed bears who are sometimes dressed up and trained to do tricks.

centaur
Centaurs have a human body from the hips upward attached to the body of a horse where the neck should go.

griffiger
The griffiger has the head and wings of an eagle combined with the body of a tiger. The griffiger's tail can't make up it's mind, being long like a cat's tail but stiff and feathered like a bird's pygostyle.
