Cardinal Neskus
Neskus is one of the 13 cardinals who rule thrane, though ouwardly a minor player in the countries politics he is in fact the leader of the Secret Flame, the organisation that you all belong to. Up till this point he has been a distant figure not directly involved in your work.
A human man in late middle age, he made a name for himself during the war, working his way up the ranks from a message runner to his current position via a series of heroic escapades that are common gosip around the cathedral (feel free to make anything of this sort up).
As to his politics you havent heard anything particularly interesting, but then he is a spy master.
