Step One :: Attributes

Shadowwalkers have three attributes as their first set of Prime Traits: Blood, Age, and Willpower.

Blood

Blood is most often added to pools focused on reflexes and senses as well as rolls for recovering from damage that you can't soak.

Age

Age is moost often added to pools focused on superntural speed, strength and durability as well as setting your character's baseline for those traits.

Willpower

Willpower is most often added to pools focused on psychic exertion, sorcery, and the chains of earth feature.

Attributes are each set at d8 You are welcome to leave them all at d8 but you also have the option to step one attribute up to d10 if you also step one attribute down to d6

Step Two :: Distinctions

Shadowwalkers each have three distinctions as their second set of Prime Traits: Bloodline, Generation, and Character.

Bloodline

Bloodline indicates which of the five known lineages was responsible for bringing the shadowwalker from mortality into unlife. The five bloodlines are the Ancient who claim to be the first bloodline and hail out of Africa; Old World, the largest and most diverse bloodline that originated in and remain throughout Europe and most of Asia; the Jade Court, the most secretive of the bloodlines, makes their home throughout Southest Asia, Japan, New Zealand and South America; and the Aurora, the newest and youngest bloodline, inhabiting Central and North America and landless points north.

The last bloodline is the Lost out of Australia. Less than thirty shadowwalkers of this bloodline exist in the modern world and none of them can return to the land of their origin. Shadowwalkers who set foot in Australia never leave that land and are never heard from once they do.

Bloodline distinctions should include not only the bloodline the shadowwalker is from, but also a significant overarching detail that broadly defines them, like Warrior of the Old World or Sage of the Ancient, or Eye of the Jade Court.

Generation

Character

Distinctions are each set at d8 and this value may not be adjusted. Each of your three distinctions starts with the Hinder SFX active.

Hinder: Sometimes your distinction works against you. Gain 1 plot point when you roll a instead of a when using your distinction in a pool.
