Director of Government Consultation and Charitable Aid
The Director of Government Consultation and Charitable Aid is responsible for a dual portfolio. First, he provides information on the Hopewell Foundation, specifically, and Survivors, generally to governments, both foreign and domestic. This includes appearing before (or arranging for Foundation staff or consultants to appear before) government committees, providing government offices with needed (and approved) internal publications. This necessarily involves familiarity with the nature and capabilities of Survivors, such as they can be known, as well as the professional services that the Foundation can provide. In this capacity he must work closely with the Directors of Programs and of Public Relations, to be sure his information is accurate and on-message. Second, the Director must coordinate the Foundation's charitable donations, both financial and physical. This involves assessing external need and working with the the Director of Finance and the Director of Programs to determine the Foundation's ability to provide.
