Civilization

Port Freedom is one of the stellar nations. Tidas is the only inhabited planet. It was simple to terraform and is now "Earth-like". However. there was some controversy about that.

The planets natural atmosphere was toxic, but the planet also contained native single celled life. By changing the atmosphere humans made the planet uninhabitable to its native life.

As a result, the planet has a number of large bio-domes that simulate the planets original condition and contain the last living specimens of its native inhabitants.
