''We all focused our attention on the left side of the stage, thinking that another Man was going to come out and speak to us, but to our astonished surprise, it was a lion. Uncaged, unchained and loose. Needless to say the front row started to panic, and immediately started to shift and get up from their seats. ''As the lion rolled over to its side and John slowly pet its belly, he looked upon the audience and said, “Man and animal can live together. Felix here shares my home, he is not put in a cage, he is not put on a leash. He comes and goes as he pleases. Now, I shall lower a cage upon Felix, and we shall see what happens to animals when they become captive.”''
