Hehe random rpahse. -RLThe other day Alex was talking about his best friend, April, and an essay he was writing about her in school. That got me thinking about a story my Uncle Arte told me about how he lost a friend, and the importance of sharing in a friendship. My Uncle Arte lost his best friend, Doug, because when they discovered the mines, Uncle Arte wanted to share the gems with everyone in Kinzville, but Doug wanted to keep all the gems to himself.Uncle Arte knew that sharing the mines would make everyone in Kinzville happy and I think that being a true friend means putting your friends’ happiness before your own personal gain. By keeping the gems to himself, Doug was saying that they were more important to him than his friends. I really like Doug – he’s my friend too, but I wish he could see that when you share something with your friends you can all enjoy it together. And that’s a lot more fun than sitting alone in your room with some old gems.Having nice things is cool, but it’s not nearly as important as the people in your life. I always think about Uncle Arte’s story when I have a new game or some candy from the W Shop and the first thing I want to do is go and find one of my friends. Because I always find that games are more fun and candy tastes better when I’m sharing. What do you think?

Arimandar is located on the Northwest part Nealef, north of Askia.

Government

For the most part, Arimandar does not have a centralized government, the cities are independently run and governed.
The eastern part of the region is controlled by various Nordmen lords, while the western part is controlled by the dwarves, who answer to their own king who lives below the surface.

Inhabitants

Arimandar's inhabitants are mostly Surface Dwarves and Nordmen.
There are many other races constantly traveling to Arimandar, but few stay due to the harsh climate of the region.

Climate

Arimandar's climate is frigid cold. The winters are unbearable for most outsiders. Although many endure the mountainous trek around Arimandar during the summer and spring, many decide to hide out in the many settlements for the remaining part of the year.

Cities and Towns

Kowel

Kowel is a remarkable industrial city. It is located at the footholds of Mountain Silver Rock, nudged in a valley in the East part of Arimandar
Its mines are rich with mithral and other precious metals. Mining is the primary source of income for this city, because mithral is found in only a few places in Tashyn.Work never stops as many dwarves and humans alike work tirelessly in the mines, surrounded by a tall city wall and guarded by one of the best armed armies in all of Nealef
The city is run by Nordmen.

Denfar

Denfar is a trade hub, located in the middle of the region. The city is sprawling with merchants daily, trading the many goods of the northern lands. Many races can be found in this city, the most outgoing and greedy Dwarves can also be found here.
Denfar is run by Lord Searen Rubymace, a surface dwarf who broke away from the dwarven king to create his own merchant faction, legend says that Searen won his right to run the city by defeating five dwarven champions in arena duels.
The noble dwarf earned his respect from the dwarven community due to his ability to radically increase demand for dwarven goods, although there are many dwarves who still hold grudges against him.

Stormgaard

Stormgaard is the main city of Surface Dwarves.
It is believed that a main tunnel leading straight to the underground dwarven capital can be found inside the fortress of Stormgaard, although it has never been admitted by any dwarf.
The city functions as a large military outpost as well as a mining facility.

Hareft

Hareft is located southwest of Stormgaard. This town gained popularity because of its blacksmiths. The dwarven smiths are very proficient in creating the sturdy dwarven armor and are capable of working with the dwarven ore. The town is run by Blingdug Steelforge, a descendant of the great Steelforge blacksmith clan. Hereft's inhabitants are mostly dwarven but plenty of other races can be found here due to its large port.

Riknir

A Nordmen city, Riknir is located in the southeast area of Arimandar. This city thrives from its many neighboring mines and miner communities.

Geographical Locations

Mountain Silver Rock

Mountain Silver Rock is one of the most mineral rich mountain on the surface of Nealef. The enormous mountain contains various deposits of most common ore, but it is distinguished due to its hidden deposits of mithral.
Most of the mountain is surrounded by the walls of Kowel, whose inhabitants tirelessly mine the mountain's resources. Rumors say that the mountain contains deposits of other priceless ore, which is kept secret by the miners of Kowel.
