Add [Ability] dice to an applicable roll. You may buy this charm for multiple Abilities, but must choose a new Ability each time. This is a full Charm purchase and not a repurchase. During combat, this applies on Step 1. Outside of combat, it may be used freely.

Special: this charm may be applied to resistance rolls (such as to resist a hazard or trap) or to reflexively created actions, e.g. a reflexive Build Power action, regardless of Step.

Alchemical: when making the roll, also choose an Attribute (typically the one paired with the Ability for this action). If your Attribute is higher than the chosen Ability, you may add it as a dice bonus instead.

Exalt can stand/run along things too narrow or weak to support them. No chance of falling or breaking through. They never have to roll to avoid falling. Increase the cost of the Knockdown gambit by (Essence).

Personal Gravity Manipulation Apparatus: whenever taking a movement action, "down" is wherever the Exalt wants it to be, within close range. This allows her to walk up walls, stand on ceilings, etc.

When undertaking a venture, Connie may either reduce the number of obstacles needed to successfully complete the project by one, or shorten the time scale of the next interval. The ST has the final say over how much time this Charm removes from the project, or what requirements have been met.

While engaged in a venture to track her target, Connie automatically knows her target's location and direction at the start of each interval. While pursuing her quarry, needing food or rest aren't obstacles she faces.

After resolving a Ranged Combat attack, make a second (same or different target). This attack is treated as though it were part of a flurry, The initial attack does not suffer the dice penalty.

ARTEFACTS[edit]

Cadenza, Earth-Rending Armature (Primary)[edit]

Resembling an enormous Firewand forged from the blackest Soulsteel, Cadenza is more akin to a ‘man-portable’ ballista. Firing solid metal stakes at thunderous speeds, it was built to deliver justice and vengeance from afar. Comes with affixed orichalcum bayonet!

  • Type: Heavy Ranged Weapon
  • Tags: Artefact, Balanced, Flexible, Piercing, Powerful

A fearsome weapon, Cadenza gains +1 to its Overwhelm rating. And, when taking the Aim action, it gains the Area of Effect trait. Additionally, after unfurling to its true extent, Cadenza can reduce the time-interval or obstacles faced during War ventures by one.

Cadenza contains the following Evocations:

CALAMITY TRIGGER
Spend 2 motes on Step 6 of a decisive attack. That attack gains an additional die of damage for every 2 Power spent on the attack. This may be used during a clash. 

* Resonant: against Battlegroups, creatures of Enormous/Legendary Size and other such foes, gain an additional die of damage.
APOCALYPSE RAIL

* Prerequisites: Phantom Arrow, Calamity Trigger

Spend 10 motes (this cost can be waived with a direct connection to a sufficient manse). This evocation creates a three day duration war venture. Through continuous and merciless bombardment, an area of land is transformed into a smouldering wasteland over the duration. Structures are demolished, and any creature or God not able to flee or cower underground will perish. 

The area of land can be any size, but must be contiguous and within 50 miles of the Exalt: with a radius no larger than a single forest - divided by meadows and copses - or the rolling plains outside of a city. The Exalt can do nothing until the conclusion of this evocation unless they are physically interrupted (which may partially or fully interrupt the evocation at the ST's discretion).
