Introduction

"My goodness," a flat voice spoke, the exclamation losing some force due to the lack of strong emotional inflection. "When the palace systems awoke me, I did not think it was because an Heir had found their way here. Much to be done, much to be done."

Such was the introduction of the new Heir to the Haarlock Warrant to Daedalus, the techpriest caretaker of Gabriel Chase. Held in stasis and periodically awoken to take care of run-down systems and check on the palace's defenses, he (?) is by far more machine than man, with no remaining flesh visible outside of the uniform he wears. Claiming to have served several Warrant-Holders, including the infamous Erasmus Haarlock, Daedalus has become a valued member of <>'s entourage with his knowledge of a vast variety of topics, especially the history and past holdings of the Haarlock Dynasty.

At one time, Daedalus served as Enginseer-Prime of the Spear of Destiny, but later became charged with the duty of watching over Gabriel Chase.
