"It's been taken care of, sir. Would you like some tea?"

Background

Homeworld: Noble Born

Service: One Amongst Billions

Lure of the Void: Chosen by Destiny (Fated for Greatness)

Trials and Travails: High Vendetta

Motivation: Devotion to the House of the Peregrine
To be a Wadsworth is to serve the Peregrine Dynasty; this is the truth that each generation is born with, and this is the truth that each generation dies upon. Every holder of the Warrant of Trade has been accompanied by a Wadsworth, and none that carry the name have betrayed the house.

Each member of Orelius' family has served the Peregrines in one way or another; while by tradition the position of manservant and seneschal has been taken by a direct descendent of the last to serve in that capacity, the dynasty requires many trusted agents, clerks and heralds. While not all factors and representatives of the house have been Wadsworths, a majority have.

Orelius himself was born the grandson of Marcus Wadsworth, the previous manservant of the Peregrine and the son of Augusta Wadsworth, who held the position of steward of the main estates upon the world of <originating world of the Peregrine>. One of five grandchildren groomed to replace the Wadsworth, Orelius was selected to accompany the Peregrine when his grandfather retired to tend to the Dynasty's finances in more detail. He has now served in this role for over nine decades and four Peregrines; Victoris will be the fifth he has tended to.
