| − | ルカさん、こんにちは このメッセージで、ありがとうと言いたいんです。自分の勉強方法論を共有してくれて本当に感謝します。勉強時間がばらばらという人にとっては、すごい助かります。特に俺はひどいぐらいに三日坊主で、いつも新しい言語を身につける方法を探してるんです。今２５歳だけど、１４歳の頃から「俺もポリグロットになりたいな」と思いました。ルカさんと同じその年齢でドイツ語の独習書を見つけて、ドイツ語学ぼうとしました。その頃からドイツ語、ロシア語、フランス語、北京語、アラビア語、広東語、スペイン語を学ぼうとしたが、その中の３つの言語を大学で勉強しても、ホンジュラスに８ヶ月住んで毎日スペイン語しゃべても、今は英語でしかぺらぺらじゃないんです。残念ながら、身につけたい言語はどれも満足なレベルになってないんです。外国語で歴史、辰学、言語学、心理学、ニュースとかの記事と本を読んだり、そういう興味深い会話もしたりするのは、ずっと俺の夢だったけど、まだまだ英語でしか無理です。それと、またルカさんと同じ、自分で日本語を学んでるんですが、もう３年ぐらい前からしてる（その中の１年半大阪に住んでて、もう２年ぐらい日本人の彼女と一緒に住んでる）のに、ルカさんの日本語の方が上手いし、英語もほかの言語も有り得ないぐらいに発音と話し方が自然的だと思いました。それを気づいて、なんか啓示を受けました！疑いもなくこの方法使ったら、同じ結果できます。この「linguistic core」という思想が完全に正しいと分かって来てます。OK, I'll have to finish this in English buescae it's getting late!After coming across a few polyglots on the Internet whose skills really impressed me (Timothy Doner et al. ) I was at my wits' end thinking about how I had had such little success. Then I discovered your videos and site. I realised I hadn't built a linguistic core in any of the languages I tried to learn and that's why I can't speak or read them well now. It's a painful realisation but I'm so grateful for it.What you have written and recorded has helped me tremendously in getting my language learning and motivation back on track. I have been test-driving your methods with learning Latin, which I'm still at a pre-intermediate stage at, and I can't believe how successful it has been.I still haven't figured out whether I should use the translating technique for Japanese, since the stuff I really want to read is pretty advanced and might not lend itself well to translating back and forth (I wonder if you're still doing it, at your current Japanese level?). It's been wonderful sifting through your articles and videos though and piecing together a strategy.Anyway, I'm sorry to take up your time with such a long message, but I just had to express my thanks buescae you really have helped me incredibly. I'll be the first in line for the book too, I can tell you that! Hopefully one day I'll be in Paris and can buy you a coffee!Thanks again,Seb
