This emblem was "branded" on each of the Survivors while in comatose state by Celera at the government's request. This brand is roughly 1/2" square at the base of the spine, often under the hairline. Government officials were not pleased with the "flamboyance" of the stylized comic book hero shield.

- Ian Harrison [age 10]: Comic Book lover.
- Vivian Janell [age 32]: Brian Jaffe's personal assistant.
- Julie Lee [age 39]: Bubble-headed actress. - Julie Lee Suplimental
- Mary Beth Manly [age 23]: one short sentence.
- Agent Vernon Marks [age 40]: one short sentence.
- Pastor Allen Ramey [age 72]: African American Southern Baptists Preacher.
- David Roth [age 39]: one short sentence.
