Dauvion the Drunkard[edit]

History[edit]

Dauvion is the black sheep amongst the Primal Gods. Dauvion envied the mortality of the humans and chose to spend time in their company lest he become bored and complacent in his immortal life. He has come to cherish the mortals for their enthusiasm and newness, and so he has gifted them with the vine and the herb to let them enjoy the fullness of their lives.
Dauvion and Emrill
Dauvion fathered his son on the daughter of Klesthes. When the child was born, Eicentia was not interested in raising the child, so she gave it to her mother to care for. Klesthes is so enamoured of her grandson that she can barely stand to have him out of reach. Dauvion wants strongly to play a part in his son's life, and so sometimes secrets him down to the mortal realm. During this time he teaches his son to appreciate and celebrate the mortals, showing him what a positive influence he could have in their lives. He is sure Emrill could grow to be an even greater balm to the pain of mortality, if his grandmother would only let him spend a little more time away from her influence.
