Gard, Champion of the Host

History

Gard is the most prominant child of Yedan and Klesthes. Gard is almost always by his father's side as champion and lieutenant. When Yedan is offended, it is Gard who fights for his honour.

Gard's place in the hierarchy was challenged only once. During the marriage of Yedan and Seyanne, Gard fathered Seyanne's second child, Cypher. Gard claimed he did not seduce his father's wife and offered his immortality to Yedan as his sacrifice. Yedan was furious about the betrayal, but he forgave his son. Yedan cast off Seyanne and Cypher was sent to the mortal realm to perish. Gard has always before and since been unerringly loyal to his father.
