Trable Hous was founded by an adventurer named Dasdel Hous from Diaga. A reader and failed academic he used his resources from adventuring to buy books wherever he traveled. This gave his manor aaa rather eclectic library. One that became known for obscure books.

His sister Ailiya was a shut in with great talents in calligraphy and illumination. At first she merely read the books her brother brought home but in time she began copying them by hand. Since some books required hand copying for ritual purposes she began making a great deal of money.

In time they began trading in papers as well as books. Certain ritual books needed to be written in certain types of papers. Same with inks and other materials. All it's became an expert in the needed materials and Dassel became an expert in finding them and exporting them.

A Family Crises

Diagans are already a long lived people but hardly immortal. Dawdle was used to spending time in Amber and Tantalum where aging was connected to aging. Aging in Amber His sister did not. So their ages began to separate. Despite both of their enthusiasms Damsel remainedd a healthy .

Merchant & Merchandise

Dasdel founded several storefronts in Amber, Diega, Begma, Diego Raks, and a few place before the Jeweled Road. Sometimes several stores in each realms.

These stores were initially to help him store other merchandise. Then the books became popular because of the common language that developed, Thari.
