Background

Jin used to travel, selling his sword not for money but pleasure and fame. After years, he grew jaded of the lifestyle. He became a human farmer in an isolated place, married, had a child and raised cattle. Hewas never very good at farming but he managed.

Torog's earthquakes brought an end to all that. The first destroyed his farmhouse and killed his wife, who was trying to protect their child. After hearing the challenge, he brought out his sword for the first time in years, told his child to look after the farm until he returned and walked away.
