Wregan was born the last of four sons, and of seven children in total, to a family of foresters.  The isolated logging village, far from any form of civilization was all he ever knew.  Once it was clear he lacked the fortitude required for the heavy labor of the timber harvests, he was put to work as a hunter, providing sustenance for the work crews. The wiry boy grew into a man and proved to have a knack for reading the woods around himself. The ways of the wooodland creatures, the earth and trees, the very wind itself seemed to talk to him - calling out and beckoning him away to the wide world beyond his home forests and eventually he left - following that siren song.

Tall and thin, Wregan is a non-descript figure with muddy brown eyes and short-cropped hair to match.  His plain looks are balanced by a quick smile and infectious charm that lets him make quick friends of many he meets.
