Part of Welcome to Holy Question Mark, a campaign set in the Amberverse using modified Lords of Gossamer and Shadow rules.

General rules mods and clarifications

  • PCs are 17-year-old Juniors at The Socinian Institute of New York, a Unitarian Universalist boarding school in Manhattan.
  • 100 points. No auction. PM your stats to Metal Fatigue when you have them.
  • Power restrictions: no Eidolon, Umbra, or Stair-related powers; this is an Amber game. Also, characters may not start with any degree of Pattern (including Broken Pattern) or Logrus, or with Advanced levels of anything. Partial powers are available, as are non-standard powers by approval (and things like Empathy and Blessings/Curses from LoG&S supplements, again by approval). No Domains/Shadows. No Allies/Devotees. Artifacts/Creatures may not have cross-Shadow powers.
  • Basic Wrighting costs 30 points (as in LoG&S), not 40 (as Basic Trump in ADRPG). This is partly to reflect that a cell phone is generally going to be more useful at first.
  • No points up front for contributions. If you do a journal, drawings, playlists, etc., I will give extra advancement points. As is traditional, advancement will be secret, so you won't know how many, but you'll get them (unless you spam me with contributions in which case I may institute a cap).
