It's unfortunate that we couldn't have (or have had) a more dialogue conversation with this. Afterall, it's a ROLE-playing game, not a Q&A session to decipher a riddle. This should essentially be "pillow talk". And while I'm not saying I wanna whisper sweet nothings into your ear, it is something that's VERY important to understanding more of the situation and character.

I will do my best to reply to these prior to game.

I will try and respond IN-CHARACTER as best I can, to give you the sound of her side of the coin. The thing is without any prompting from your side, it makes it hard to "react" to when that's how it would have been.

I'm NOT scolding you for not having time. So don't feel bad about it or anything. I'm just mentioning this because I'm looking to not continue this method in the future.

I will answer in-line below... as I have time today. Keep checking back every few hours.

The following is Divided into three sections:

1. Questions to Lady Ahimia

keeping in mind she thinks I'm her best friend :)

• Why has the Vile altered Lord Izrador's sacred symbol?
  • [Lady Ahimia]: "Lover... I cannot hope to beg a parcel of the mind of the Vile. The elf-kin, I heard, found his way from the forest over a century ago and took to the ways of our people. I give him account for taste, but his lack of luster defies my Sarcosan blood. If he once had heart in matters of our ancestory he has long since lost it. The only thing he holds is the rattle-wind texts of the Sahi star knowledges. And for his spot on the pew come Shadow Hour, his prayer go unheard because he chooses not to pray with the Devout. He has only once in my time within the Nail sat aside we Legate during sermon or choir. Suman tells me he had requested the prayer tomes on occassions of the moon shifts regularly - so perhaps it is there for which he speaks to the Shadow in the North - atop this jagged thorn of obsidian... The symbol of the Vile? That is a bastardization that he allowed his orc legions to devise, giving them a prouder place at the hand of the Lord, he called it. Giving them authority in owning their faith. This he holds sway over some even more so than Lord Sunulael. I know the truth of it though, he is of elf-kind. He knows the need to outweigh his heritage in the eyes of the pig-men. Suman once told us the the thing was first stylized by the orc sometime in the space when the Vile delved under the Spine of the World. He theorized that it could have meaning to the things under the mountain, if not the men of stone themselves. A ruin of sorts..."
• What, exactly is the vile trying to accomplish with his ritual?
• Why are the bumbling pathwalkers so important to his plans?
• Why did the vile leave so many items for them to find?
• What is his backup plan if they fail to arrive or get waylaid en route?
• How do all of you survive the powerful taint of this place?
• Is there any way you know, or have heard of to remove excess taint?
  • [A]: This one I will only attempt to answer if you write out how you would have said it.
• What do you know of the Vile's Cadaverous Eye?
• Who has hidden it from him?
• Who is the Vile's Master? Does he not serve lord Sunalael?
• What do you know of Ardherin? What is Vrolk's connection to him?
• Why are the disfigured orcs in service to the Vile?
• Are they loyal to him, or to someone else?
• Why have they disfigured themselves?
• What do you know of the sleepers below? Whom do they serve?
• I dearly wish to continue my master's work, I need to gather a few of his papers so that I may continue to study.
• The pathwalkers took a large hourglass from Master Suman's room, what do you know of it?
• Why were you forced to remain behind when so many left for the ritual?
• Why are the legates 'to be initiated' being initiated, and what are they being initiated into?
• I must warn/ambush/mislead (whatever makes sense based on the above answers) the (pathwalkers/Vrolk); how can (I/we) get transport to the ritual site?

2. Observations

• What symbols do these legates wear? The Izrador standard symbol or the Vrolk Modified one?
• Do they seem to be devout or cabal? Suman seemed to be Cabal, as he referenced a Cabal Spy as one of 'the true', which seems an unusual epthet to apply to an enemy.
• What legates are still here?
  • [A]: You'll need to note how/when/where Zal'Kazzir would be making his way around to figure this out. Obviously you need to go to Suman's room, and she'll take you there. How will you learn more? Will you bluntly ask her? If so I will only attempt to answer if you write out how you would have said it.
• From smalltalk and observation, what can I tell of Ahimia's personality?
• Is Ahimia a Path-walker?

3. Actions/Goals

• Gather any knowledge of taint removal (If it exists; if it doesn't, no worries)
  • [A]: again... HOW will you be attempting to learn this?
• Gather Suman's papers (writing samples) stamps, inks, wax, seals, etc.
  • [A]: anything of vital importance that you want to list or ASK if he would have? Also are you hiding this from Lady Ahimia? Or are you? If so/not how will you go about it?
• Procure Transport; either summoning, mount(s), magic, or something else. Hopefully there is something, if not, we've got bigger problems.
• Gather my items from the lab, if possible; Especially the books.
