- A former Dhakaani warmaster, Hakar has one leg, one good eye, and enough scars for a battalion of soldiers. In his combat classes the craggy old hobgoblin tosses out praise, insults, and outrageously vulgar curses with equal abandon, all in the same booming voice and in the same badly mangled Common. No one knows what brought this old monster to Morgrave, but with over a hundred years of combat experience, Hakar makes a formidable fighting instructor. If he tells you that you did a good job, you know you did a damn good job.
