Illusion Dance is a Hyroshi technique. The user teleports and then can conjure an illusion making the victim think they actually hit the user. The illusion will look and feel like a body. The illusion makes no noise however. The illusion is always an illusion of the user and cannot be changed. The illusion last for one minute but the Hyroshi ninja has probably already struck.

The Hyroshi Clan Ninja Outfits are a mix of old and new. Made by a secret Hyroshi ritual, the suit boost the users ability to channel Ki and use it more effeciently. High tech polymers provide decent armor against melee and ranged weapons while remaining light. Night vision is built into the mask and face gear of the suit. Akira is proud to have earned his suit.

2 10 Item: Shuriken of Sleep [Weapon 2, Incapacitating 5, Accurate 3, Charges -6]

This is one of the legendary Hyroshi Shuriken. The one given to Akira is the Shuriken of Sleep. There are supposed to be seven in all. Two have been lost for a long time, one was stolen by the enemy faction of the family and the remaining three are sealed away. Akira is the first to receive a shuriken as an honor in a long time. The shuriken can only be used every 12 hours. When the shuriken hits its target, it disappears and will magically reappear in Akira's possession after the alloted time has expired.

These are the Hyroshi secret killing techniques. Short Form Dim Mak (OR Dim Mak Shu) involves the user attacking four specific pressure points on the body. Hitting these points in order cause the victim's blood vessels to constrict and the nerves to flare. This causes incredible pain and blurred vision. The victim will continue to take damage until dead or several seconds have passed.

Long Form Dim Mak (Dim Mak Ku) is one of the most feared techniques in the world. The user channels his Ki with ancient hand gestures and then unleashes this energy into nine specific pressure points in the neck, arms and torso. What comes next is a horrible death for the victim. This foul technique cuts off the internal flow of the body, turning it negative. The victim's own spiritual energy attacks him, weakening the body and inflicting great pain as the body slowly shuts down. Every hour brings more agony until the victim dies. There are ways to overcome the Dim Mak Ku but they are forgotten or secret. It is said that the strong of Body and Spirit can resist the effects but these are rare.

Family background

The Hyroshi clan is one of the most recognizable and oldest clans. They helped broker the peace between clans, they helped create the Ninja Council, they made sure that the finances of the Council were in order. That is what the Hyroshis do, they are business men and accountants. They are the "troubleshooters" of the clan. Of all the clans, the Hyroshi clan is closest to what a regular person would call a Ninja. What they were not above is tragedy and betrayal.

When The Enemy hatched his plan and started to steal secret techniques, the Hyroshi clan was the first to react. They were also the first family to have a member turned traitor. Akira's grandfather, Hyroshi Ito, was a legend but even legends souls could be poisoned by dark magic and a serpent's tongue. In the end, Akira's father and uncle were forced to fight him, their own blood. In the end, they defeated him with a variation of the ultimate Dim Mak technique. Grievously injured and close to death, The Enemy rescued Ito when he fled himself.

The Hyroshi clan was literally split in two. Hyroshi Ito was not alone in his betrayal. A legend is what Ito was and a legend is what some in his family still believed he was. Half of the clan defected with Ito, thus leaving a huge burden on the rest of the family as they scrambled to troubleshoot what was never thought possible, the reputation of the family. Eventually, they did as the Hyroshi clan was still a key pillar of the Council. They used their immense wealth and called in many favors owed to them to help rebuild the Council and bring order out of the chaos. With came the firm belief that the clans should return to business as usual. Money could not be made if all the clans did was prepare for a war that may never come. Some thought this was strange since the Hyroshi clan was one of the hardest hit by the betrayal. Others believed that the Hyroshi clan had its own plan or even that they were still under the influence of The Enemy. The Hyroshi were ninja and all ninja had a plan. They did not dismiss The Enemy as trivial: When he struck again, they would be ready.

Akira is the golden boy of the Hyroshi clan. He excelled in every bit of training and his capacity to learn techniques is extraordinary. He is the youngest ever in his clan to receive his Hyroshi clan ninja suit, the Okami (literally the Great God suit). He is the youngest and the first in a long time to receive one of the sacred shuriken of the Hyroshi clan. He is trained in proper etiquette and procedure. He is being groomed to be a leader and is expected to lead the Watch and take his place in the Council when it is his time.

Too bad Akira doesn't care about any of that. Sure the honors are cool and all and it is great that his family thinks so highly of him but he could care less in the end. There are two things in this world he cares about: His training and his sister Inoue. He does want to be the best and he does like that he is. He wants to keep it that way. He loves his younger sister Inoue more than anything in this world. If a decision between his training and the fate of the clans and his sister were presented to him, he would pick Inoue anytime, any day. If her life was threatened or if anybody tried to dishonor her or really kill her, the aftermath would be monstrous for his enemies.

This leads Akira to have a very lackadaisical attitude about life in general. To an outsider, he would seem very apathetic and uninterested in anything. For the most part, this is very true. He doesn't even really care about School and goes only to appease his mother and father. It also is important to Inoue so he humors her. Inoue herself is a genius an has her own talent as a healer. She is not very powerful but her limited techniques and her medical knowledge make her a child prodigy in the medical field. This makes Akira very happy.

In the beginning, Akira will always be polite when he needs to be but will show his true colors of annoyance when out of formal situations. Some say this makes him two-faced, he would say it makes him a perfect actor. Who knows what effect good companions and friends could make. If he doesn't find them brutally annoying first. A boy who can turn invisible and teleport at will can find solitude anywhere.

Note about Dim Mak: The Dim Mak technique literally means Death Touch. It is actually a Chinese term and is known in Japan as kyūshojutsu or pressure point fighting. The Hyroshi did learn this technique from the Chinese in ancient days. They also perfected it. The Hyroshi clan took this technique to unseen heights and lethality. In their perfection of the technique, they created four specific forms: The Dim Mak Shu (Literally Death Touch Four. Four is an unlucky number in Japan since it is pronounced the same as Death), Dim Mak Ku (Death Touch Nine, nine is also an unlucky number as it is pronounced the same as the word for torture and suffering), The Bleeding Strikes (Literally causes the victim to bleed from every orifice), and the Unseen Touch (Only taught to the Hyroshi ninja of the highest talent and willpower). In fact, the Hyroshi style of karate is all based on hitting sensitive areas of the human body to cause the most damage. It is designed specifically to end fights quickly and violently.
