standing still as an arc mage in arena to cast would be stupid. The reasnot here so powerful is they can do a ton of damage in a short window of time, while being mobile. if your going to stand and cast, frost is better, it puts out more consistent damage in that case, and doesnt oom in 30 seconds. Arcane blast oom's the mage fast, and also, being arcane, you sacrifice most of your defensive spells, so its very possible a DK, Rogue, Fdruid, and even a Warrior could kill you in 2-3shots.
