Appearance
Albrikt looks...odd. Tall, for an elf, and unhealthily thin, his face looks almost like a skull. His pale skin has a faint greenish tinge to it, as does his long blonde hair. He is not, by any common standards, an attractive fellow. Nevertheless, there's something about him that's almost impossible to dislike. He seems to genuinely like people, and enjoy listening to them, and he's an unfailingly optimistic individual.

Albrikt tends to favor clothing of green and white, richly embroidered and finely tailored. He's a disconcerting habit of using Walk Unseen while travelling, while considering to chatter away to his companions about this and that.

History
Albrikt comes from a family of minor nobility, little more than court functionaries. They're happy with their lot, relatively prosperous, and generally thought well of. Albrikt himself, not surprisingly, is something of a black sheep. Very black indeed.

It all started with a vision. Or with a fever, depending on who's opinion you ask. Always a sickly child, he spent several months on the verge of death in his 53rd year, victim of some still unknown plague that stubbornly resisted even magical cures.

He remembers those months as the best of his life, spent wandering the Fae realms and discovering the truth and the splendor of his own heritage. The elves had lost their way, he learned, and it was Albrikt who was destined to return them to the proper path. And for that, he would be exalted above all others, and would someday take his place among the gods themselves.

Along the way he'd have to overthrow Corellon Larethian who was, while well-meaning enough -- the architect of all current sorrows.

His family was not pleased to hear this good news upon Albrikt's awakening. As soon as he was well enough to travel, they sent him on his way...out of Celene, and out of the earshot of anyone who mattered. He didn't care. This was his wyrd, and a century or so of travel could do him nothing but good.

The slavers, though? That was a bit of a surprise. But he escaped, and won his freedom, and found some trustworthy companions along the way. Albrikt's hinted at the truth about himself a time or two, but he's not yet come out and said it outright. It's not quite time, and they're not quite ready....
