Black Caul Chiurgeons
The twisted mind of Weeping Jade skitters to life with the black science of necrosurgery. The Abyssal sits in a cold operating theater in Thorns, surrounded by plundered flesh and works dark colossi into existence. But even as she builds her Black-Puppet Dragons, the armies of the Mask of Winters need smaller wonders - Vessels for the Nemissaries and armor for the living troops. To that end, Weeping Jade has found ten ghost-blooded savants and trained them in the arts of necrosurgery. She has given their black lives meaning and, in turn, they help her at her work. They are:
