Artifact 5 - The Toy Box[edit]

On the outside, it looks like a large carriage with a door at the back rather than the side. It can be pulled by a single ox. Inside, it's the size of a very large room and contains a flawless workshop.

Artifact 5 - The Component[edit]

It's the first component he created, the one that lead to his exaltation. He's been adding to it all these years, and has no clue what it does. [Up to ST what it does or will do.]

Artifact 1 - Hearthstone Amulet[edit]

A simple amulet he wears to hold his hearthstone.

A unit of 50 (scale) automatons, they act as assistants and bodyguards to Sun. What they lack in numbers, they make up for in other areas.

Lunar Bond 5 - Ivory Feathers[edit]

Nothing is known about what became of Ivory Feathers, if she died or is still alive. Regardless, either she or her latest reincarnation is out there, somewhere.

Manse 5 - Gem of Perfect Mobility[edit]

This hearthstone is what allows him to work so fast, and handle himself in a fight.

Limit Break[edit]

Temperance Flaw: Mad Genius's Mania
Strange ideas for experiments assault the mind and the desire to create is overwhelming. Sun rushes to his lab and creates things at random, trying to turn the whirlwind of schematics and design principles that run rampant in his mind into reality. Determining just what kind of function these devices or experiments serve is almost impossible, and Sun doesn't even recall what he was attempting when he snaps out of it.
Partial Control: Sun is still filled with the desire to create, but the creations are more sensible, or at least can be figured out more easily, and Sun possesses a vague idea as to what he was attempting.
Duration: One full day.
Limit Condition: When he is hindered by the ignorance of others.

History[edit]

Bio: Sun grew up on the Blessed Isle as the only child to a merchant family. An off-shoot of a terrestrial blood line, it hadn't seen much in the way of exaltations but was affluent and wealthy enough to give Sun the best schooling possible. He quickly demonstrated an aptitude for scholarly pursuits, and his interests in expanding his knowledge shaped his future. Not content to simply digest from dusty books in a library, Sun went off to explore ruins and tried to unlock ancient lore. What he could understand he absorbed and tried to make use of. What he couldn't was stored until he finally could. It was on one such expedition outside of the Isle that found him trying to decipher an ancient text. From what he could make out, it seemed to be a blueprint for a first age device, one that could vastly increase the production rate of factories all over the realm. Excited by the possibilities, Sun rushed to gather the necessary resources to build the device. It took him months, and when he was done, Sun activated it right away without hesitation. It was at that moment that Sun exalted, and he heard the voice of the Unconquered Sun tell him he was one of the Unconquered's Chosen, and the last words he heard before passing out was to go out and create. When Sun woke up, he did the most sensible thing he could for a realm scholar who realized he had just become Anathema: faked his death in a large explosion and ran away. His time since has been sent wandering, exploring and inventing.

First Age: Mad Dancer was a survivor of the Primordial wars. A genius among twilights, he was also as socially inept as he was brilliant. Mad Dancer was named as so because to see him try to engage in normal conversation was like watching some mad dance of words. King of a city state, he was content to keep to himself and work in his lab while his lunar queen, Ivory Feathers, took care of the city and advised him when necessary, like when discussing what new creations would benefit their people. It was often joked in the Deliberative that Mad Dancer was so henpecked that Ivory Feathers was the real King and should have been sitting at his place. On his part, he had no interest in ruling, happier to tinker in his workshops with things that were logical and made sense than rather deal with the insanity that was people. Ivory Feathers knew much more about that sort of thing, it was the wisest course then to leave it with the expert. After all, she didn't tell him how to assemble devices. In as much as he was capable of it, Mad Dancer loved his queen, and tried to the best of his abilities deliver her gifts that would be useful and please her. All in all, the mortals in his city were happy, and both King and Queen were well liked. When the Usurpation came to pass, the two had declined to attend the banquet and where spared the initial massacre. Dragon-blood assassins had been sent to kill Mad Dancer in anticipation of this, but they had vastly underestimated the defences, defences only the royal couple had known about. By the time a large contingent of terrestrial and sidereal exalted came to their city, all innocents had been sent away and it had become a veritable death trap. For a month, terrestrial blood was spilled as they ground against the defences, wearing it down slowly. When they finally breached Mad Dancer's workshop, it was just him and the most awesome of his creations as Ivory Feathers had been ordered to leave her husband behind and survive. A fierce battle was had and when he finally fell, victory was brief as the entire facility self-destructed and took out the rest of the invading force.
