Mistborn Tiefling[edit]

Unlike their infernal brethren, Mistborn are bound tight to the Fey. In appearance they are more delicate than infernal tieflings, with smaller horns and bone ridges and smaller tails, or no tail at all. Many have cloven hooves instead of feet.

Mistborn Tieflings are usually encountered singly or in pairs, but that is not how they live. Tiefling communities in the Feywild are nearly always found in the labyrinthine mystery of the Gloamings, clustered around the Black Rowan of a Dark Dryad, shrouded in shadow and magical mists.

Many such communities have a pact with a Mist Dragon, feeding it magic in exchange for protection.
