Firbolg[edit]

Firbolg are towering primordial beings of great strength and power. Despite their appearance, however, they are typically cunning and wise and take a certain delight in deception and misdirection.

Almost as curious as Wildlings, but more staid in their nature, Firbolgs are natural explorers, and may be found throughout the Feywild on one journey of discovery or another. Firbolg conclaves are typically made up primarily of elders and children and young Firbolg adults with children. The rest tend to wander by nature.

Firbolgs delight in laughter and are lighthearted and notorious practical jokers.

Ability Score Increase: As a racial trend, Firbolg are typically known for their strength and wisdom. but player characters may prove exceptions to the rule. Increase any one ability score of your choice by two points and another by one point. Alternatively, increase three ability scores by one point each.

Size: Firbolg stand between seven and eight feet tall and weigh 240 to 300 lbs. Your size is Medium.

Speed: Your base walking speed is 30 feet.

Powerful Build: You count as one size larger when determining your carrying capacity and the weight you can push, drag, or lift.

Trickster's Guise: As an action you can use this trait to cast disguise self. When you use this version of the spell, you can seem up to 3 feet shorter than normal, allowing you to more easily blend in with humans and elves. Once you use this trait, you can't use it again until you finish a short or long rest. Choose Intelligence, Wisdom or Charisma as your spellcasting ability for this feature. This choice cannot be changed.

Hidden Step: As a bonus action, you can become invisible until the start of your next turn or until you attack, make a damage roll, or force someone to make a saving throw. Once you use this trait, you can't use it again until you finish a short or long rest.
