WHAT WERE YOU DOING WHEN THE WORLD ENDED? I took some vacation time to concentrate on learning Braille and sign language. I was in the classroom waiting for the instructor to arrive. I didn't realize at first anything was seriously wrong. It just looked like nobody was getting to class on time today. When I got home that day my Uncle Matthew almost killed me. That's when I found out I could Walk Between (by which I mean, I could teleport).
WHAT DO YOU STILL CLING TO? Books. Libraries. Knowledge. I so desperately want there to be libraries again.
WHAT'S ON THE SURFACE? I'm lean and lanky with ragged blond hair. I wear clothing with lots of pockets: cargo pants, a workman's vest. A tool belt. I can be patient and persistent. I'd rather negotiate then fight.
WHAT LIES BENEATH? --Ahh, God, the stupidity. Can't we at least try to work together? --Stubborn resolve. I will make something of what we have left. No matter how many times what I build gets torn down, I will rebuild.
WHAT IS YOUR PATH? I need a safe place. A place to rest my head. There isn't one so I'm going to build it. I need friends: people I can trust. I'm going to find them. I need there to be libraries again. Schools. Places to learn and preserve what knowledge we have left. There aren't any, or they're been looted or torn down. I will rebuild. I will make things new.

- I can MacGyver. Give me tools and raw materials and I can make what we need.
- I know what people really want, and what they intend to do. I can't actually read their thoughts but they don't get away with lying to me, not even by omission. .
BREAK EDGE
- I can teleport. ( I sidestep into Elsewhere then travel to where I need to be. I can ignore real world terrain and obstacles but it feels to me like I 'walk' there. It takes only a second or two but can feel like much longer when I'm doing it.)
