I lied. There are many entrances, but finding them is hard, and with Earth's geology being what it is, they don't always stay put or stay open. New ones open just as unpredictably.
Or are they gateways to another world? Or worlds? It doesn't seem consistent. It sure doesn't look like the inside of a sphere. It looks and feels like the Earth - but with super-dinosaurs, man-apes, saurids, magic-wielding "Native Americans", and a whatever the hell else. It's a place where something called The Anthro-Geomantic Principle of History holds sway.
