Tobyverse
At the center of the Multiverse is Earth-0, a planet of superheroes connected to hundreds of different parallel worlds. Its heroes not only defend their own planet from invasion by parallel universes but also defend other worlds. It is THE TOBYVERSE.

Bialobog, aka Koschey (Lt. Alexander Igorovic Koshtinenchko) - Pilot, cosmonaut, experimental subject, now a godlike being with a plan.
Bombshell (Miriam Jones) - Welsh cleaning lady became Super Soldier after Nazis attacked the lab she was working at.
Daksha Chaturvedi - Incredibly wealthy and brilliant, she is the inventor of the Hyper Solar Process, and is out to save India and the world.
Doctor Professor (Priyadarshini Sreeram) - the greatest superscientist on Earth, no matter what that Chaturvedi woman says.
Dr. Kadabra, aka Dr. Alberto Kadbras - a Professor X for the Changelings crowd.
Dr. Dinah - A world-class genius form an alternate world, and, oh yeah, a raptor.
Drunken Monkey (Nadine Wetzel) - Hard-drinking Empire City college student turned half-monkey martial artist. Hey- these things happen.
Elizabeth Wright - Newt as a time traveling Batman, out to change her past.
Geoffrey Daniels - A slacker with the power of Creation.
Jessica Mason - Once a teen superhero using the power of The Ship, now bonded with it as the mighty Legendary.
Julius Rex Lexington Faraday - A Vampire James Bond.
Karl Draugr - Revenant detective, fighting his darker urges while working for justice.
Professor Johann Faust The Faust. Permanent resident of Sheol. One of world's premier mad science geniuses.
Ulysses Orlando Burns Chief warden of Sheol, son of the brutally murdered Gold Guard (Barry Burns)
Virginia Ward - Revenant Southern Belle and winged witch, formerly deceased.
Daniel Arima - Revenant Undead Christian Samurai and professional sword-saint demon hunter.
Maenad - Daughter of an Italian Supervillain family, rebelled by becoming a superhero. Roommate of Drunken Monkey.
Magus Eternal - The Sorcerer Supreme, latest of a long line, with all the others looking over his shoulder.
Miriam Horas (Madame Destiny) - a housewife who sees the future and fights crime with her family.
Multiple Max - A feature of many alternate timelines, he comes in many forms, and works well together.
Norman "Normal" Kant - A normal guy who happens to be immune to magic. Town Sheriff of Tăcere.
Torgar the Savage - Apparently the fictional creation of Jonathan K. Hoynes, until he showed up, seeking out evil and adventure with equal abandon.
Doctor Chaos - A mad scientist of the psychology persuasion. He's just out to change the world.
Omega Mastodon - A jobber brick of a villain from the east coast.
The Brewery Boys - A retro crime-gang in Atlantis
The McFlint Gang - A retro crime-gang in Atlantis
The Totality - A cloud of yocto-machines, all that remains of the race that ate the universe tapped by the Genesis Device. They are in our future, looking to get their energy back.
Doctor Dante Xyle, Dimensional Deviant - A brilliant but insane scientist and scholar with the ability to travel between dimensions at will and a desire to make each one his plaything. Ex-tyrant of Atlantis

Atlantis - Technologically advanced artificial island. A sort of high-tech Victorian England.
СOПРАСH (ULTRASP) - Bialobog's techno-Utopia. Formerly part of Siberia and Central Asia.
Dimension Zero - A Hell-like dimension, source of the demons that are attacking the US.
Elizabeth's Future - Complete with apocalypse and time machine.
Empire City - A city practically designed for pulp superheroes, full of magnificent oversized architecture.
Nexus City - Found in Antarctica, home of the Nexus Gate, which grabs groups of beings from other worlds.
Sheol - The Super-Prison.
Singh Khalja - A future star empire, led by Guang Singh. WH40k's Empire with Chinese/South Asian influences instead of Gothic/Catholic.
Tăcere - a small town hidden in Mexico - a refuge for the weird and scarred alike.
The Expanse - Where magic comes from, and magical beings dwell. There be Dragons! (And worse...)

New Guardians - active hero team.
The Damocles Directive - a team of interdimensional refugees, using the knowledge they gain from dying worlds to prevent ours from becoming one of them.
The Inventurers - a team of pulp heroes, apparently fictional in origin.
The Middle Eastern Team - a Middle Eastern team, as yet unnamed.
Young Guardians - disbanded hero team.
Zero Battalion - a classified Marine task force fighting demon incursions.
Blackwell Academy - teaching students the skills they need to take control of their lives and improve the lot of their fellow man. There are no more than 15 graduates a year, but all who own the school ring go on to great things.
Changelings - people born with a recessive Fey gene that expresses itself in odd appearance and/or abilities.

The University of Light - a loose affiliation of mages dedicated to the White Arts

Timeline[edit]
1400 years ago Karl Draugr becomes a revenant.
1500s Johann Faust sells his soul to Mephistopheles.
1684 George Keeling founds the steading that will eventually become Empire City.
1700s Johann Faust uses super-science to steal his soul back.
1701 Johannes Blackwell founds the town of Highcourt, eventually part of Empire City.
1727 Johannes disappears under mysterious circumstances, his brother Caleb takes control of Highcourt.
1801 Jonah Blackwell arrives in Highcourt (now part of Empire City) and founds The Blackwell School for Troubled Youths.
1837 Julius Rex Lexington Faraday is born.
1857 Baron Nemesis, somehow creates an island in the Atlantic. He is defeated by a coalition of forces led by the British.
1862 The Blackwell School for Troubled Youths burned to the ground while serving as a barracks for Union Troops.
1867 or so The island created by Baron Nemesis is eventually sold to a group of mostly-British businessmen.
1879 The last of the surrounding communities joins what is now known as Empire City.
1894 The Visionaries, by now in complete control of the artificial island, announce that their project is complete, and open Atlantis to the world.
100 Years Ago Shackleford and the Nimrod Expedition discover Nexus City in the Antarctic. The Nexus Gate is activated.
1910s During the height of World War I, the people of Atlantis declare it a free and independent state.
1917 The University of Light is destroyed, and its Great Library burned.
1920s Atlantis' immigration restrictions are eased. Tăcere is found, deep in the forests of Mexico.
1930s Atlantis is hit brutally by the worldwide Depression, and is forced to import workers after many of their own leave the island.
1942 Atlantis enters the war on the side of the Allies. It begins using airships to move goods to avoid u-boats.
1948 The Jape, a masked man terrorizing the criminals of New York City is killed.
1949 Professor Johann Faust builds a nigh impenetrable fortress in the pacific.
1950s Atlantis serves as a meeting ground for early Cold War diplomatic meetings. It also begins to recruit scientists and scholars from all over the world.
1951 USSR successfully occupies Faust's fortress, it is turned into the international prison Sheol.
1965 Atlantis is conquered by the forces of Doctor Xyle. The Atlantean resistance eventually brings down his shields and disables his bombs, allowing an international task force to aid them in retaking the island.
Late 1970s Disaster befalls the Bialobog Project. Over ten years later, the results emerge.
1985 Morgan La Fey almost destroys the British Isles, foiled by Arthur Pendragon.
1988 Mismanagement of Sheol allows for massive breakout led by The Tyrant, who then publicly kills famed hero Gold Guard.
1990s СOПРАСH established by Bialobog as part of his Plan. House of Villains formed, does not do well.
1994 Ulysses Orlando Burns graduates Blackwell Academy.
1999 Sheol is overthown by its prisoners who turn it into the criminal haven of the Hive of Villainy by the Hive Queen.
The Changeling Advent Many people born with the Fey gene start converting.
2001 John Blackwell, a wealthy attorney, creates the Dean Jacobs Foundation to help juvenile offenders. Doctor Chaos revives the House of Villains.
2003 A new Jape begins operating out of Empire City, with a similar MO to the original.
2005 Professor Johann Faust destroys the Hive of Villainy and instigated Sheol's restructuring.
Far in the Future Atlantean scientist Miriam Fellah invents the Genesis Device, providing free energy.
Many Years Later Malaysian researchers, led by Mamat Muda, prove that the Genesis Device drains power from another dimension. A Damocles Directive team is sent to investigate, and is lost.
300 Years After That Guang Singh overthrows the League of United Planets and establishes Singh Khalja in its place.
