Devon hails from, as he terms it, "parts unknown". In actuality, the parts are known as Sharn. He just uses mystery to enhance his standing with the ladies, as he terms it. Most women term it 'hopelessly pathetic'.
Devon's fighting abilties are marginal at best, meaning he only occasionally releases the bow instead of the arrow, and knows what end of his sword to point at the bad guys. His Bardic Song abilities are limited, to be charitable. Most of his 'songs' are sappy love songs that are too nauseatingly treacle-y to stand for much more than a minute, at best.
His Bardic Knowledge ability has come in handy from time to time, though he rarely uses it as intended. When asked what he uses the skill for, he smiles a too-white smile and claims 'Well, I need to keep track of all the paternity suits, baby.' To date, no such suits have surfaced.
His Bardic Knowledge abilities tend to steer more towards the locations of bars, taverns, Inns, brothels, and local decency laws than anything else.
Devon also seems to own a disturbing number of Charisma-enhancing magical items. He is rarely seen without at least one ring, cloak, necklace or brooch, and hat or circlet that enhances his Charisma.
