Forgotten Freedom:Crew
The crew of the Forgotten Freedom is split into three groups. These groups are the Ubers, Scum, and Redshirts. The Scum is further split up into "Popular" Crew and Lesser-used. In addition there are two groups that do not easily fit into these categories: Passengers and Non-existant Entities.
Meh, the crew is infinite....and has a high "turnover" rate. Captain: You mean they die? Yes. Captain: Except me. Errr....not really. Captain: Don't forget I have pictures of you and the... You're immortal.

Ubers[edit]
Ubers are the most powerful and often more involved members of the crew. Although most of them come to the ship already Ubers, they can also come from the ranks if they are lucky enough to survive and smart enough to achieve power. The Ubers all have great aspirations and often are working on a number of plots to further their power and control. Although many plan on conquering or destroying the world, the Forgotten Freedom has given them a place to marshal their strength and bide their time. They have come to an understanding with one another to cooperate for the betterment of themselves individually, at least in the short term. The power to destroy the world is within the grasp of many of the Ubers and should they feel significantly betrayed they may not hesitate to use that power. The primary factor keeping the Ubers in line is the fear of the others working together to stop them should they make any moves. Although they often seem to disregard the captain's orders, they accept the punishments because of the sanctuary that they have found in him and his ship.
Beryl (formerly Tifa)
Scum[edit]
The Scum are the members of the crew that have survived past the life expectancy of the Redshirts and have found a place where they can be useful, or at least out of the way. They have been accepted by at least a few Ubers and are now safe enough to not fear walking the halls at night or sleeping too deeply. Often they have a rather unique and exaggerated character trait that will endear them to some Ubers while making them the target of others. The important thing for them to remember is that they must not offend any one person too much and they should be able to escape until they are no longer a primary concern. A second characteristic of Scum is that they do not thirst for power as the Ubers do, they are first and foremost a member of the crew and they are content to have found a place that they can belong. Formerly, Scum was divided up into two categories: popular crew, which is any crew member who appears regularly, and lesser-used, who are those crew above redshirt but don't see much use in the stories. Now it's just "In use", "No longer in use", and "Dead (includes Ubers)".

Erk's Bar[edit]
A Cheers-style establishment for the dispensing of both intoxicating beverages and cryptic wisdom from the bartender. It exists outside of time and space, independent of the FF but frequented by its members. The employees are drawn from the ranks of the crew who have been forgotten by the Entities, especially the one-time-joke crew members.

Second Generation[edit]
As the crew has grown together they have formed a number of relationships, many of which have led to children despite the apparent lack of the needed reproductive organs in many of the couples. As several of the children have aged, they have made friends with others of their age group, some of whom have also joined the crew.
Scum
Sithis Arthas Brokenblade D'Vol
Yuan Kulanni (deceased)
Lesser-Used
Admiral Wolverine Lightningbolt(A.W.L.)
Redshirts[edit]
Redshirts have an extremely limited lifespan and only the best and brightest will make it to their first paycheck, much to the captain's joy. Redshirts are the best of the worst gathered from across the planes to serve in the crew and hopefully gain power. Most of them never make it to the level of Scum and few even earn the right to have their name recognized by another member of the crew. They are named for the uniforms they are given to display their rank and give a convenient number to call them by when something needs to be done. Most of these uniforms have been used far too many times, but the red helps to hide the blood stains that remain. Apart from struggling to survive and attempting to gain the recognition to raise to the rank of Scum, the Redshirts are tasked with the completion of the many tasks required on an airship that are beneath the Ubers and Scum. It is a hard life, and the ones who live long enough come to regret the decision to join the crew but unfortunatly quitting is never an option. Recently someone has been passing around the journals of some of the Redshirts to get some laughs and as a result the names of a few have been learned.
Bob, awakened unkillable zombie
Ishmael (dead)
Law Enforcement[edit]
Well, I think those tragic souls who try to bring the Forgotten Freedom to justice should have light shed upon their tales.
Inspector Zan'E'Gta d'Tharashk
Inevitables[edit]
As a center for all that is chaotic and just plain doesn't follow the rules, the FF is frequently visited by the mechanical enforcers of universal law. These beings are also able to go after the E.B.N.E and frequently try to.
Inevitable (Against bad puns)
MCP Kolyarut Inevitable
Passengers[edit]
People on the boat that aren't members of the crew. Until recently, no one has been crazy enough to pay to fly on the Forgotten Freedom (most of the crew being aboard for the elusive prospect of monetary gain). There have now been two, so far, and Captain Jarlot provides these sources of cash flow with a modicum of protection, to whatever extent the Rules are followed anymore.
Visitors[edit]
People usually friends of some member of the crew who come to visit but leave without actually becoming a part of the crew. Most of them rely on the protection of an uber for their stay, although a powerful enough scum can protect them from most things.
Campers[edit]
Recently, the Forgotten Freedom was opened to the public in the form of a summer camp, so the crew can share their knowledge with the next generation. Gods help them all.
Non-existant Entities[edit]
These characters do not, technically speaking, exist.
Silver (formerly Cheese) and Bunny (formerly Crow, formerly the Demon of Teenage Angst that was messing with Sutekh (the rakshasa trapped in the Silver Flame))
13 (aka Thyrs from this setting)
Random Entities from Beyond Non-Existance
Enemies[edit]
Pretty self-explanatory. People who annoy the FF enough to get the crew to stop ignoring the Rules and kill them. Normally by doing something that threatens the Rum.
Achika aka The Greater Goddess of Eberron Khyber/Tiamat/Takhasis (dead)
Arijani (dead)
Giovanni (location unknown)
Khyber (yes, that Khyber) (re-sealed for good)
Halester (dead)
Haru (dead)
Lana (dead)
Mordain Fleshweaver A.K.A. Ganon (recurring videogame villain)
Pun-Pun (dead)
Theronas (dead)
Proxy Characters[edit]
These are non-crew, non-visitor, non-enemy characters that have had an effect on the universe of the Forgotten Freedom in one way or another. They typically appear as either persons in flashbacks that have had a profound effect on one or more members of the crew or as people of the present day that join/aid in the various quests the crew embark on.
Amelia (dead)
Gaia (dead)
Laurel (dead)
Elminster[edit]
Yes, THAT Elminster. He's not crew, he's not a visitor, he's not anything except a guy who shows up and gets killed.
