Tifa was originally the captain-in-training aboard the Forgotten Freedom; until the day Jarlot showed up to steal the ship. She was young and impressionable and fell in love with him, for his reckless Bravado and All-round Dashing Dasheyness. She stayed on a first mate (not knowing about Slip) and eventually (and due to her beating him at a drinking contest, yep for some reasons she can out-drink Jarlot) married Jarlot [Yep he bet his bachelorhood].
Things were going great [in her mind until] until Jarlot saw the ‘Daisy selling Tart! Tm’ for the first time … and then Aerith kicked her off her ship [in Reality Jarlot dropped her in chains in front of Stomehome,]! She later found out that that woman got outsider help… (That Damn solar!).
She has been trying to get back on the ship ever since but for some reason she cannot {Solar magic again), so eventually she figured out she needed Outsider help of her own. So after Trying many different good outsiders, fey and elementals [she has Knight of the Stars feat and Nymph's Kiss feats and a Storm elemental grafted to her, Also the reason she still looks so young], but not of them could give her the power to deal with that man-stealing witch.
After much seeking, she found a pair of magic Klurichir [Cr 30 demon] bound Khyber Gauntlets. After she put them on, she found that they permanently fused to her arms. She has it now ready to make her way back to re-win the heart of the man she loves… and stomp that Solar-loving ***** in to the ground!
- Knows deep down the Jarlot still loves her.
- Has a blind hatred for Aerith; making her immune to any mind-affecting stuff she does
- The Storm elemental bound to her skin lets her use her Mark more than normal
- Spent the last few years in Dread hold… for the crimes of the crew of the FF, the House Lyrander just got her off… but she has to try to reform the crew as part of her release.
- The Klurichir is named Bob. And some time appears on Tifa shoulder arguing for evil acts… but ends up convening her to good.
- The weather changes with her mood sometimes.

- After getting rid of the Nymph's Kiss, Tifa fused with Bob to become Beryl
- Her original body was restored by Aerith, and she is now an Outsider herself
- Beryl says she wants to kill 'Neo'-Tifa, but seems more interested in tormenting her
