Jessica Mason
Jessica Mason is the latest person to inherit the power of the ship; she is a young woman in her mid twenties presently attending law school in New York; she first obtained the ship from her grandfather when she was twelve. After a few years of practice, she began a short career as a teen super-heroine relying on a gimmick weapon in a similar manner to her grandfather. This ended disastrously for her, nearly being killed by a rampaging super-villain. The ship decided her approach was flawed.
Villains and threats to the world were increasing in power...and so she retired that identity in favor of something greater. The ship warned her that this act would be dangerous, but Jessica decided to bond with the ship and meet any challenge with as much power as she could muster in response.
Her face and hair coated in silver, featureless save for glowing eyes, she appeared under the heroic moniker of Legendary, lifting a sinking cruise ship from the Hudson River.
At her command are the durability, might, and weapons of the Ship...but now she is left wondering...is she still something that can be considered human.
