Bio[edit]

Kyras Noor was raised in an orphanage, his human mother having died in childbirth, his father unknown to all but her. As a young child, he realized he had an innate magical talent for deception, and began harnessing this power. In his adolescence, he struck out on his own, using his magical abilities to become a con-artist. However, Kyras began to notice strange changes in him as he used his powers; his eyes, once green, became gold, and his brown hair began turning into a black-striped orange. There was little Kyras could do to keep these changes from happening, as his livelihood depended on his use of his magic. He shaved his head and began looking for a retirement plan. He found a group of people planning to establish a new land and realized that, should this venture succeed, he could very well live the high life as a noble for the rest of his days, and so he used his gifts to get in on their expedition. For Kyras, everything rides on the success of this kingdom. He used the small fortune he'd amassed as a grifter to help fund it (though even that was dwarfed by the church's donation), he has no back-up plans, and recently he's noticed faded stripe-like markings occasionally appearing on his face...

Feats[edit]

  • Skill Focus: +3 to chosen skill (Bluff)
  • Eschew Materials: Can cast any spell with a material component costing 1 gp or less without needing that component
  • Deceitful: +2 bonus on all Bluff and Disguise skill checks. If you have 10 or more ranks in one of these skills, the bonus increases to +4 for that skill.
  • Persuasive: +2 bonus on Diplomacy and Intimidate skill checks. If you have 10 or more ranks in one of these skills, the bonus increases to +4 for that skill.

Special Abilities[edit]

  • Silver Tongue: +5 bonus on one Bluff check made to convince another of the truth of your words (similar to using glibness). If a magical effect is used against you that would detect your lies or force you to speak the truth, the user of the effect must succeed on a caster level check (DC 10 + your sorcerer level) to succeed. Failure means the effect does not detect your lies or force you to speak only the truth. You can use this ability a number of times per day equal to 3 + your Charisma modifier.
  • Elven Immunities: Immune to Sleep, +2 on Saving Throws to resist Enchantments
  • Keen Senses: +2 Perception
  • Mind Reader: you can read minds as a spell-like ability. This ability acts like detect thoughts, except it lasts only 1 round, you use it on a single target as a standard action, and if the target fails its Will save, you gain information as if you had concentrated on it for 3 rounds. You may use this ability once per day at 3rd level and one additional time per day for every four sorcerer levels you possess beyond 3rd, up to five times per day at 20th level.
