Adventures[edit]

Phase One Adventure: Dawn of War[edit]

At the outbreak of the Clone Wars, Padawan Shen and his Master, Adi Gallia, took a mission to Corellia to investigate potential sabotage of the famed shipyards. The pair made contact with the Corellian Jedi Enclave for assistance, who gladly lent their aid. While there, though, the Temple-raised Shen began to explore his Corellian heritage and the differing traditions of their Jedi. Over the course of the mission, Shen would come to the point where he would have to choose between his temple upbringing, and his newly-discovered heritage, while dealing with Trade Confederation saboteurs....

Phase Two: Against the Storm[edit]

As the battle for Norku Tarnada raged, the newly-Knighted Shen was on the trail of a Dark Acolyte, one of Dooku's foul apprentices. His enemy's path led to the war-torn planet. Alone, facing innumerable Separatist soldiers and the manipulations of the Acolyte, Shen had no choice but to make his way to the Republic's last stronghold -- Task Force Alpha's headquarters. There, he had to swallow his pride and ask for assistance from the few forces remaining and the Chosen One himself, Anakin Skywalker. Their chances were improved -- but they still had to face down an army and the shadow of the Dark Side -- and Shen now had a personal score to settle with the Acolyte....

Phase Three Adventure: Race Against the Dark Side![edit]

The life of Shen Eiras has changed almost beyond recognition over the course of the Clone Wars -- being made a Knight, serving with Task Force Alpha, dealing with his former Master's death, and even the recent assignation of a Padawan of his own. But at his core, he is one of the Order's premiere investigators, and a dark mystery beckons....

A Shadow Acolyte, empowered by the Dark Side of the Force, and his minions, have begun to make subtle moves that stretch the length of the galaxy. But while Shen has faced and defeated such enemies before, this one is different -- fiercer, darker, and far more powerful.

Aided by the guidance of Sith holocrons (long believed safely interred in the depths of the Jedi Temple) the Acolyte strikes at locations throughout the galaxy, seeking sites of dark power and caches of Sith lore. And this foe is rumored to wield the lightsaber of a Jedi Master -- but one that has somehow been corrupted....

Now Shen must journey from the Core to the Outer Rim, tracking his foe, anticipating their moves, and denying them their dark prizes. With him stand a host of allies, old and new -- his Padawan Erikka, Captain Hwi and the loyal troops of Sunburst Company, and the might of Task Force Alpha itself. But can Shen discover the secrets of this new enemy -- the hidden source of their lore -- and stop them from rediscovering Sith secrets that could turn the tide of the war itself? The fate of the Republic may be determined by the answers to these mysteries....

Character Information[edit]

  • Name: Shen Eiras
  • Appearance: Shen stands about 1.8 meters tall, with the typical build of a Republic Jedi, lean and muscular. He has short black hair, and pale blue eyes. Generally, he chooses not to wear the traditional Jedi robes unless required (or he needs to make a certain impression); per Corellian Jedi tradition, he prefers dark trousers, a simple long-sleeved shirt (usually green, to honor his heritage), and boots, with a brown hooded cloak.
    • Lightsaber: Shen's lightsaber is of relatively simple construction, much like his master's was. It is made mostly of brushed steel, with a black handgrip and a larger activation switch. The crystal produces a deep, cobalt blue blade.

Important NPCs[edit]

  • Adi Gallia: Shen's former master. Killed approximately one year before the start of the game. Shen was her padawan for the better part of a decade, and he often finds himself considering what his master might have done in a given situation. Given that she was a consular and diplomat (though still an accomplished pilot and duelist), considering her perspective sometimes gives Shen a new approach to a problem. (And sometimes, when he's meditating, he could almost believe he hears her in the living Force. It's just a pleasant daydream, really....)
    • Lineage -- Lineage is the chain of masters and padawans, going back to a member of the Jedi Council, and is as close as a Coruscant-trained Jedi gets to parents and children. For example, Yoda's sole remaining lineage is Yoda (Grand Master) -> Dooku -> Qui-Gon -> Obi-Wan -> Anakin. Shen's lineage goes Even Piell (Councilor) -> Adi Gallia (Councilor) -> Shen -> Erikka (padawan). Since Adi Gallia and Even Piell both were killed in the Clone Wars, Shen is the last remaining knight of his lineage. It isn't something he obsesses over, certainly, but it would be a lie to say he doesn't think about it from time to time.
  • Erikka Ceiren: Shen's padawan. Born into and initially trained by the Corellian Enclave, Master Gallia brought Erikka back to Coruscant for further training. About nine months ago, Shen was recalled and given Erikka as a padawan learner. Though their personalities were compatible, Shen was unconvinced that he was ready or able to train a padawan, "will of the Force" or not. Still, since then, they have worked well together, and Shen has settled into training a willful teenager. More or less. Generally serious and laser-focused, Erikka has taken to the intelligence-gathering side of investigation like a duck to water. Shen is grateful for the assistance, but is privately a little worried about both her ability to drop in and out of new personas, and her near-obsessive determination. He's worked to try and get her to loosen up, with the aid of Hwi and Sunburst Company, but given the wartime scenario, he can only do so much. Still, Erikka has learned to relax a little, befriending her fellow padawans Ahsoka & Jae. At the start of the game, she is on Coruscant, recovering from injuries and debriefing with the SIS.
  • Captain Hwi: HWI-R227, Commander of Sunburst Company, and a man who enjoys explosions as much as anyone else in the galaxy. Despite the circumstances of his creation and the fact that his life has been 3 years of non-stop combat, Hwi never fails to keep an upbeat attitude and a smile on his face. He began working with Shen shortly after Shen's knighting, as a detachment from Master Gallia's army. Since then, Shen has stuck with the company through thick and thin, doing his best to keep as many men alive as possible, regardless of circumstances. Shen also gives Captain Hwi as much latitude in his commands as possible; the Knight knows that the captain has far more military expertise than he does, and things tend to work best when Shen gives a basic command, and lets the captain figure out how best to pull it off. It's worked rather well for all concerned. While Sunburst focuses on demolitions and reconnaissance, Hwi's choice of weapon stands out as a well-cared-for Z-6 rotary blaster. The captain is remarkably precise with his shooting, given his armament -- the whole company (Jedi included) are all well-conditioned to drop the instant they hear Hwi call out "Suppressing fire!"
    • Sunburst Company: A team of demolition experts and rangers 140 strong, Shen's command specializes in getting into places they're not supposed to be, and then blowing them sky-high. Their insignia is a yellow sun on a black background, with a green border (to honor their C.O.'s origin, they say). Most of the experienced troopers have taken to drawing a crude smiley-face on the sun.
