Appearance: Kellas bears a remarkable similarity to another Eberron heroine that bears the name Grimwolf. Golden blonde hair, a shapely figure, tough as nails, and an eye patch being just some of the commonalities. No one has yet bothered to ask if they are related. Kellas tends to dress in loose fitting dresses when she's not prepared for combat and these often hide a small armory's worth of weapons.
Personality: Beneath her incomprehensible lower class Common tongue accent, Kelly Grimwolf is a very smart young woman whom has a bleeding heart for those in trouble. She also has a dead eye for a crossbow to make other's hearts bleed if they try and cross her. She nevertheless is a sucker for a sob story and many people like to open up to the enigmatic young woman. Otherwise she's all business at the Boar's Head.
Kellas is a somewhat lonely woman and not above taking attractive members of both sexes to her bed for some comfort.
Background: Though she doesn't like to talk about, Kelly's father was a Valenar elf that was exiled to Khovaire after he embraced the Silver Flame and raised her to be a monster hunter. Both Kelly and her father both participated in the Lycanthrope purges where they managed to kill dozens of the evil races. Eventually, her father was transformed into a Wereboar and she was forced to kill him. This experience, combined with the fanaticism developing in many hunter's eyes, resulted in her becoming deeply disillusioned with the Silver Flame.
Kelly avoided the Last War as much as possible, though she was horrified to find the Church of the Silver Flame taking sides on behalf of the nation of Thrane. Kelly's cynicism about politics being well justified from her many experiences with the nobility. Taking up residency in Cyre, she managed to build up a family of half-elves that were largely all killed in the Last War. She had already moved to live in the fortress when the Mourning occurred and she believed the rest of her children (along with their children) were killed.
Kellas supports the Scavengers in the city largely because she believes that they will help 'clear out' the Mournlands of undead even if its a tremendous job. As an elf, she's a great believer that the land might yet recover but she's partially in denial about the level of devastation afflicted to a land she once called home. Those who are just looters she despises but she had made contact with Thelia and those more interested in finding out just what caused the Mourning.
Magical Items: Kellas wields a +3 Crossbow of Quickness with 15 Bolts of Speed that she reserves for special occasions. She also has Leather armor +2 that was a gift from her late husband.
