"To everything (turn, turn, turn) / There is a season (turn, turn, turn) / And a time for every purpose, under heaven" ~Pete Seegar, Turn Turn, Turn.

The courtship, her career, marriage, moving to a house of their own, in a land neither one was recently familiar with. The hero game was one he had played before, dozens of times, and one she felt was needed. Miriam, now Miriam Horas, is in her late forties, though she has aged less than one might expect, and her body is as fit as a woman ten years younger. She is working on a book of their stories, past and future. Her husband, of course, has not aged.
