Two ladies, one from the mainland, the other a native, who survive by offering themselves to anyone in town that has enough wealth to pay for their services. They make their way to any ship in port or to the guest quarters for anyone of low enough station to not receive "special servants" from Maugre. They know they must make the money to survive that they can while foreigners are in town.

It's rumored that they'll gladly sell the information they pick up in their main profession for additional income.
