Jacob Keller, Marquis of Ties That Bind[edit]
Jake is a character in the Nobilis game, Nevermore.
Appearance: Jake is a man in his late twenties. He wears simple clothes that can be worn comfortably at work or at play with his kids. His skin is pale, a trait he gets from his mother's Irish ancestry, but his short, curly hair is as black as his Jewish father's. His face is narrow, though his nose is a little broader than most Europeans'.
Jake has a certain unquantifiable quality to his character since being enNobled; no one can quite understand it, but anyone who stays in Jake's presence for more than a few minutes becomes tied to him in one way or another. They know that, somehow, Jake has assumed some sort of role in their life and--whether for good or ill--they know that they will see him again.
History(Abbreviated): Jacob Keller is a family man. He married right after High school, quit college to work full time when his wife became pregnant, and turned down jobs and promotions that would take away time with him and his family. His whole world revolved around his family (extended and in-laws, to a lesser extent, too) and he loved them with all his heart.
Design:Two blue flowers with open petals, symbolizing Loyalty, twine around a caduceus. One flower has trumpet-like petals, denoting Friendship; the other has cross-shapped petals, denoting Treachery. Both have a radial pattern of leaves at their base, symbolizing Endurance. The backdrop is gray with a white teardrop pattern.
