Nutriwheat
A hybrid plant, mainly crossing common wheat and green peas, Doctor Joseph Dippel has bred this agricultural marvel over the course of the past two decades. The plant combines, and even enhances, the potent nutritional properties of its two main components in one powerful package, plus it also adds in high vitamin levels from various non-tropical fruits like the apple and the pear. A single serving of bread or porridge made from the stuff is the nutritional equivalent of a full meal for most people.
Nutriwheat has a short growing season and a short stalk. This makes it ideal for many harsh growing conditions, including colder climates and those prone to flooding, two areas that have traditionally had the hardest time with wheat production.
With the destruction of Darmstadt Castle, this wonder may never see the light of day.
