Anima Power Changes:[edit]

Note: Any Castes not listed below are assumed to be unchanged.

Solars[edit]

Dawn[edit]
  • (Permanent Essence) to DV, regardless of the opponent's Valor. Mortals and normal animals automatically flee in terror if they attempt to oppose the Dawn Caste. Heroic mortals and demons of the first circle (and non-noble fair folk) may avoid fleeing if they succeed at a Valor roll with a difficulty of the Dawn's permanent essence. Otherwise, as per normal.
Zenith[edit]
  • Burn the bodies of the fallen for one mote of essence per body, sending the smoke (and soul) to Heaven and preventing the body from rising after death as a zombie or hungry ghost. This ability is usable regardless of the status of the Zenith's Anima Banner. (There is no cost to invoke this power when the Zenith's Anima is at the 11+ mote level.)
  • As per normal, but double the permanent essence in additional levels of bashing, lethal and aggravated soak against attacks from the creatures of darkness.
Twilight[edit]
  • The absorption of inflicted health levels of damage only applies if the damage was inflicted while the Twillight was performing a Shape Sorcery or Misc action.
Night[edit]
  • One mote surcharge, per charm, obvious or not, to prevent the motes spent from counting towards the Night's anima banner. The difficulty of the muting effect is equal to the Night's permanent essence AND cloaks the exalt from the eyes of heaven (Outside of Fate) for the duration.
Eclipse[edit]
  • The Eclipse knows if and when any Oaths they sealed are broken, as do the parties to the Oath.
  • 'I will speak the truth as it truly is' is considered equivalent to and synonymous with 'I will speak the truth as I believe and understand it to be' for purposes of the Oath.

Changing Moon:[edit]
  • The illusion is not subject to being pierced by the Changing Moon's anima banner until the 11+ mote level, at which point the effects are as per normal.

Infernals:[edit]

Slayer Caste (Malfeas):[edit]
  • (Permanent Essence) to DV, regardless of the opponent's Valor. Mortals and normal animals automatically flee in terror if they attempt to oppose the Slayer Caste. Heroic mortals and demons of the first circle (and non-noble fair folk) may avoid fleeing if they succeed at a Valor roll with a difficulty of the Slayer's permanent essence. Otherwise, as per normal.
    • 1-3: Appears as a normal Dawn mark
    • 4-7: Takes on a shimmering green patina
    • 8-10: Edges become rough and jagged, twisting into a profane Sun
    • 11-15: Begins to leak hellish green flame
    • 16+: Becomes a miniature of the Green Sun
Malefactor Caste (Cecelyne):[edit]
  • As per normal, but double the permanent Essence in additional levels of bashing, lethal and aggravated soak against attacks from holy creatures (Gods, non-akuma Solars, any Exalt with a Holy-keyword Charm).
    • 1-3: Appears as a normal Zenith mark
    • 4-7: Becomes progressively more silver than gold
    • 8-10: Mark becomes grainy in appearance, starting from the edges and working inwards
    • 11-15: A swirling disc of silver sand
    • 16+: Bottom half filled with shifting sand, top half a black, starless night
Defiler Caste (She Who Lives In Her Name):[edit]
  • As normal.
    • 1-3: Appears as a normal Twilight mark
    • 4-7: Takes on a crystalline sheen
    • 8-10: Becomes slightly transparent, with a half-seen flame flickering behind
    • 11-15: Becomes a full semi-transparent crystalline disc, with clearly visible flame dancing behind
    • 16+: Becomes a crystal orb containing a single flame in tribute to SWLIHN
Scourge Caste (Adorjan):[edit]
  • One mote surcharge, per charm, obvious or not, to prevent the motes spent from counting towards the Night's anima banner. The difficulty of the muting effect is equal to the Night's permanent essence AND cloaks the exalt from the eyes of heaven (Outside of Fate) for the duration.
    • 1-3: Appears as a normal Night mark
    • 4-7: Takes on a reddish hue
    • 8-10: Blurs as if in motion
    • 11-15: Center fills in, begins to swirl slowly towards center
    • 16+: Rapidly swirling vortex of red and gold
Fiend Caste (The Ebon Dragon):[edit]
  • As normal.
    • 1-3: Appears as a normal Eclipse mark
    • 4-7: Begins to blacken
    • 8-10: Blackens entirely and begins to lose its perfect ring shape
    • 11-15: Exalt's face is covered in shadow, a tiny coiled black dragon replacing the black ring on his forehead.
    • 16+: Black dragon moves, coiling endlessly
