Cassius and Mayalanthas' illegitimate child, Saber was born not long after the death of Cassius' wife Alice. Saber has aged at a rate appropriate for a Half-Elf but his fiendish blood is something that he's always struggled against, he's largely overcome it through his constant and neverending devotion to Dol Dorn. Saber's relationship with Cassius is strained to say the least and it doesn't help that his mother looks younger than him. Oddly, Saber is one of the few people who actually knows Trent very well and tends to look up to him as a big brother figure. Their morals couldn't be more different though and Saber is, well, a virgin.
Saber, unfortunately for any sane man, wields the stupid Cross-Blade with its gun at the tip of the canon. Saber fought on the side of Breland during the Last War after defecting from Karrnath and is viewed with hatred by that side and distrust by his own. Most Flamites would try and kill him if they knew his heritage.
Most assume he and Mina are dating.
