Thirteen (or Chantal as she started calling herself) was apparently a creation of the Lord of Blades. She was the 13th creation by the Lord to make a group of assassins or warriors that could successfully disguise themselves in human courts. Her appearance as a young woman was added to this, since few would suspect a woman as young and charming as her to be a killer.
Since the day of her creation she was taught that all flesh creatures were weak enemies that should be destroyed at all cost. She accepted this duty and trained hard until she made the mistake of questioning the moral authority of the Lord of Blades. Despite the innocence she asked in it, the Lord decided to scrap her, he placed her in an iron container and ordered her to be dumped in the Mourn Land. It was here that she encountered Siber.
She initially fought Siber, believing him to be a weak fleshed mortal. She was defeated by him and the startling revelations of her abandonment by the Lord of Blades was given to her by one of the Lord of Blades generals Scimitar. Once she understood that the people who she had trusted the most had betrayed her she was lost in confusion and despair until Siber talked her into realizing just how evil the Lord of Blades really was.
She told Siber that he could call her Chantal. She doesn't know why she would like to be called this, simply that Chantal is a name she recalls with some vague familiarity and she feels that she would rather take a proper name than simply a number.
Chantal recently discovered from the Lord of Blades as well as Mark that she was in fact once human. She was a pesant girl living in Cyre, one of the many who died during the day of Mourning. Her soul was bound to her body and would be forever trapped like that had the Lord of Blades not found her and began "experimenting" on her.
With newfound creation processes he wiped her memory clean and replaced several of her organs and corrupted body parts with construct equivalents. Soon after she was re-awkened and taught to serve her Lord. Chantal retains her human soul and because of this none of her emotions or previous personality has been affected. She still sleeps like a normal human and she still dreams. Chantal finds this fact to be greatly disturbing and she wishes to find out more about her past.
During the adventure to Sarlona. Chantal decided she fell in love with Siber and attempted to win his love. This horribly backfired when she saw him and Sofia kissing. Chantal's unstable emotions caused her not only to go into a horrible rage (unleashing her Berserker abilities) but also caused her to blame Sofia for her troubles. In Zengyi's palace she lured Sofia into a heavily trapped room and waited for her to die.
Intervention let Sofia live and when Siber found out about what Chantal did he literally SLAPPED her out of anger and gave Mark full custody of her. His reasoning being "He's maturing, she's not." since then Chantal has been cold and emotionless to everyone. Losing much of her will to do anything.

LN Warblade 5/Cleric 1*/Hidden Berserker 1**
Alternate Chantal has been upgraded by her encounters with alternate timeline Maevac. She and him had some quasi romantic encounters in their past and her emotions are all the more unstable because of it. Chantal is still dedicated to Siber and sees him as a father figure and more but the change in time has caused her mental issues to grow worse.
- Chantal's levels in Cleric are unknown to her and as far as she is concerned she has no clue she has any divine power.
- Hidden Berserker is a class similar to Frenzied Berserker except even a lawful character can take it. This is also a unique class that Chantal is unaware of.
