Torgar the Savage

So, Torgar the Savage, seemingly a creation of manic pulp writer Jack Hoynes, turns out to be real. He hails from a place called Phaedom, which as it turns out is actually a Barsoom-like incarnation of Ganymede, the seventh moon of Jupiter. Famous for his ridiculous-yet-evocative battle cry, “Taste The Ancient Law!!”, Torgar is sort of a slightly-super mooshed-together Conan and Tarzan. His mighty thews and sinews ripple with power. His senses are so acute he can smell fear, see nobility in the eyes, hear unspoken words, feel pulses race and muscles tense, and taste victory! He is The Great Hunter, able to sense of the ebb and flow of ancient powers, sees how Earth has become a nexus for them. His destiny is to go where he is needed, and he has been called to any number of worlds, dimensions, times, and places - anywhere and for any people. If there is one thing he has learned in his travels, it is that people are the same everywhere and that his natural instincts, sheer might, and charisma rarely fail him.
