The team’s commander, confessor, and cook. Toruna is from the distant south. Not much is known about her, except that she is a hard leader with a pragmatic eye toward success. She wields countermagic, travel magic, and a disturbing understanding of local customs. Toruna has midnight black skin and eyes, hair as hard and sharp as obsidian, and is easily a head taller than anyone she meets. No one knows what qualifications she has brought to the job, but Rivers apparently trusts her to lead the team.
